Adelie penguins (Pygoscelis adeliae) making their way to the water’s edge. Adelie penguins are only found on the Antarctic continent and along with the Emperor penguins, travel the furthest south on the continent. Fun fact, penguins build their nests from small stones and are known to steal stones from rival pairs, offering a pebble as a gift to its mate.
